I made a gold background with shades of pink/salmon in order to paint the Creole savannah black. I so enjoyed crossing its landscapes between Grand Bourg and Saint Louis, I observed the trees, the vegetation, the lights of Marie Galante so much that I can paint a Creole landscape for the first time.
The little cabin bears witness to this simple life, close to nature.
I like the effects obtained by scratching the paint lines, it produces engraving effects.
